There are shuttle buses that ply between the Basel airport and the main train station in Freiburg (Freiburg HBf) about a dozen times daily. The institute can then be reached from the main train station in Freiburg in 5 min by foot. From Basel: Take A5 toward Karlsruhe, and take exit to B31 leading to Freiburg Stadt Mitte. Follow signs for Hauptbahnhof and then continue past the railway station, past the major intersection and you will be on Stefan-Meier Strasse. Our Institute is located at the next signal light (intersection of Albert Strasse) on the left. From Karlsruhe: Take A5 towards Basel and follows signs towards Freiburg Stadt Mitte and then toward Hauptbahnhof.
